Kit & I used to skate together every day in 1990 then went our seperate ways. Six years later we bumped into one another in downtown SF of all places. We made plans to meet up a couple of days later. I was supposed to go to that party with him. I have felt guilty ever since too . . . Kit was the greatest. Anyone that ever spent one minute with him knows that. One of the all time greats, I think about him every day.

He hit his head on a car bumper shooting skate video in SF. It gave him a concussion that he did not know about that caused him to fall down some stairs the next day. That caused severe swelling in his head He died a few hours after that. I was one of his best friends at the time and he told me that he hit his head skating and was feeling very dizzy. It only occured to me after he died that it could be life threatening. I have felt guilty ever since.
