stunning perfomance by Deidre and Drake. How Deidre didn't get an Emmy for this storyline is beyond me.

It was once said that a director could say to her "two tears, left eye" and she would deliver....this is such a great example of what a very talented actor she really is. So sad that she isn't on to deliver scenes like this anymore...

i cried more because the memories they showed reminded me that they are not on the show anymore! Now they got me sniffling and bawling like a baby. I miss John and Marlena sooooo much *sob*

Oh the fantasies people have. LOL! I know which interview you are talking about...that wasn't the reason. She wasn't going to submit because she thought it to be pointless after the number of times she's been snubbed. It took some convincing, but she changed her mind.

Not worth arguing over, but she said in an interview (I can't remember which one) that she chose not to submit her name because it would be too hard after Drake left.

Actually, she did submit her name and she was on the pre-nom list.

Hope, Maggie, Caroline and Kate are the only female vets left now! Maggie and Carolina are only used as "fillers" and Kate, I'm sorry, is so boring! They can do so much for Hope...again! I've begun to really like Chelsae, and Nicole has always been one of my favorites. Sami has gotten to be boring as well. I say do the following: have Marlena, Hope, Kayla, Anna, Lexi and Nicole, and then have Chelsea and Stephanie - so many possibilities.

Fantastic song, isn't it? DAYS has played the song a few times on the show for J&M. Also used just after Marlena's *death* in 2004 and J&M danced to it during the amnesia sl in 2005.
