  • My father has this on LP, and like everything else, IT IS MINE.

  • Who's that singin' @ 2:44? It sounded like David Ruffin

  • Who ever said that this music or so called music today is thrash is so right I couldn't agree more......

  • @7980COOL1 I'd say Lord Buckley predates Brown or Ali. He influenced all those beat poets.

  • Eddie sang the most sexy songs. Boggie Down: 'Going downtown, gonna mess around. ' Take the cream off the top. HE was such a sexy man though.

  • Too bad Eddie was a chain smoker. It caused lung cancer in him. Eddie, you died too young, brother! RIP.

  • WROOOOONG, rap goes back to Muhammad Ali AND James Brown, who were the TRUE pioneers of rap ( trash talk & straight talk) ,something that the hip NOT generation could not or will not understand !!

  • WROOOOOOOONG rap does NOT go back to africa, it goes back to Muhammad Ali and James Brown who WERE the TRUE pioneners of rap (or trash talk ) something that the hip NOT generation does NOT and will NOT understand !!!

  • @7980COOL1 1st off Kurtis Blow--well....blows, and that's being polite as I possibly can. Everybody else you named ok. But you forgot to mention people like Common, Wu-Tang, Nas, Public Enemy, Run Dmc, Cool J, Artifacts,Masta Ace, Joell Ortiz,Krs-One, Boot Camp,A Tribe Called Quest, RAKIM?! Nas, Epmd, did I mention Nas? Redman. And that's just the abridged version of that list. Besides, you can't sleep on Hip Hop. From what I understand, rap goes back to ancient Africa. Ask KRS-One..
