Der Grobmann / The Slenderman

He's watching me as I write this. I don't know why. He's standing there, outside of my window. He follows me, everywhere. Ever since that night, right before the attack on Stalingrad... Me and my mates were camping in the country. We weren't surprised when we heard the Fuhrer's orders to attack Stalingrad, but what we encountered that night changed everything. We heard a rustling from the trees, and a tall man emerged. Long black ligaments sprouted from his shoulders and upper back. We were taken aback, but we didn't have long to stare in horror before he began to pick us off one by one. I was the only one he spared, yet I feel as if I am the one made to suffer the most. I can't stand his presence any longer. Any attempt to hide or attack is useless. Nobody believes me when I tell them about the Grobmann. I'm going mad.

A fake fanfilm trailer made for the Dublin Coffman Film Fest in a style similar to Blaire Witch Project and Cloverfield. We did this in 3 days. There was more to do, but we didn't have time. Oh well.

We actually photoshopped an image of a guy in a suit to look real tall like Slenderman, and then added him in using motion tracking in Adobe After Effects. We were going to do Slenderman shots but After Effects crashed and we didn't get as many shots as we wanted. We were working on a very short deadline and didn't have time to fix the issue.
