The Persian Empire was faired by us Greeks, and it's history and culture admired. Yes we were enemies ! We fought several times. Acropolis was burned, Delphi was sacked, and for revenge a greek hore convinced Alexander to take revenge by burning Persepolis, at least that is what some historians reveals to us from older texts. Nowadays in Greece their is only admiration for Persian people, probably from respect from the historical facts, that do not do justice for either part. ....

@nintengameguy You seem to read only the headlines of history....
Every strong nation evolves through time, like Iranians that after Greek, Parthian and Arabic invasions they evolved becoming...Iranians!
So did the Greeks, that all Western Europeans repeat the same old shit about the "death of Greece", dreamming that "real ancient Greeks" were "whites" and therefore heirs of Greece are the Westerners!LOL
Rome, Byzantium and the Ottomans are now part of our heritage too, but we are still Greeks!

look ok... the persians tried to take greece and failed. the greeks took persia but the empire was short lived. after that they both went there seperate ways. persia would go on to make the parthian and the sassanid empires. the greeks...after alexander died...rebelled and killed each other until ancient greece was no more...bad example

@azf94 My point was exactly what I said. Being appreciative of violence and death, using vulgarities in an open forum, it doesn't make YOU sound like you know what you're talking about. You may want to reread my original comment.

@azf94 I'm not talking about your point. I'm talking about the way that you're voicing it. Hatred begets hatred, death begets death. You also seem to have a bit of an inflated ego, if such can be deduced from a Youtube comment, for assuming based on what I said that a) I don't know anything about Alexander and b) That you are somehow more informed than others commenting on this video. Some people may disagree with you knowing all of the facts you do. Ultimately, that wasn't my point. My
I'm currently reading the Cyropaedia and I found this to be a good supplemental video for it. Thank you.
