what would we do without other people to point out symbolism and irony to us?

@Shadowyconman peace.
-
Lust died in hatred towards everyone else.
Gluttony was consumed by his own kind.
Wrath was killed by his biggest target and passed away in peace.
Sloth died from exhausting himself.
Envy committed suicide from being humiliated by being understood.
Pride was defeated by a mere human boy.
Greed sacrificed himself for the sake of selflessness.
Father, an entity who gave no mercy, was reduced to crying and screaming to a being who calls itself "Truth" for mercy.
R.I.P You magnificent bastards.

I can't believe I let Ling and the little runt talk to me that way. Oh, I've had enough, Yeah, that's all I really need. They gave me everything I could want.......Thank you, and goodbye.....my friends

Let's all be honest...Greed was the most emotional death in the series.
-
Greed dies knowing that friendship was the one thing in the world he wanted.
Gluttony dies by being consumed.
Envy dies being jealous of humans.
Pride's evil dies with the admission that a mere human could beat him.
Wrath dies at peace.
Sloth dies from being over-worked and using up his stone.
Lust dies wanting to have a real relationship.
Father gets placed into the gate for the most sinister people, wanting mercy from the Truth. Yet Father didn't want to show the Amestrians mercy.

All the humunculi we're only what their names implied. When they were cured of their vices, they died, since all that they were was no more. Greed only truly wanted friends. When he got them, his greed was fulfilled, leaving nothing for him to be, so he passed away. All the humunculi were this way, in a sense, but greed was the most profound and complete example.

someone knows which is the song when ed fights with pride and kimblee appears and pride is reduced to a fetus?

@Deisy5086 You forgot Pride, I guess he wanted to have a family so he could be happy...
@Deisy5086
Greed...sought friends.
Envy...sought understanding.
Lust...sought a true relationship.
Pride...sought a mother.
Wrath...sought to make his own choices.
Gluttony...sought to end his hunger.
Sloth...sought true rest.
And Father...he sought freedom, and knowledge.
Rest in piece, thee the eight homunculi.

maybe you didn't notice but towards the end of brotherhood Greed admits that all he really was greedy about was having friends, like how Envy was envious of humans and just wanted to be one, Lust always wanted a relationship i guess and Gluttony is just a fatty. but at the end Greed says that he really just wanted friends and when he dies he says he had enough soooooooooooooooooooooooo yea
