Before you judge Siller
Keep in mind that he hadn't worked at quarterback for a couple of months now. Working out at RB is totally different than getting valuable reps at QB.
I'm not saying I saw a superstar in the making, but I saw him do some good things. His main fault was SLOW decision making. That is where the lack of QB practice probably hurt him the most. If Painter is still hurt this week, Siller should get a lot of 1st team reps.
One comment on coaching. I may have missed it, but what I didn't understand is why there was no coach sitting with Siller after each series. Someone should have been teaching this kid during the game.
The below average line of Purdue was hurting Curtis Painter's less then spectacular mobility. I have been following Justin Siller since his recruting days. He is going to be a All-American one day in the Big-Ten. Good Release. Great Arm. Nice touches on the balls. Just great, he is a scrambler that will be molded into a combination of both because of the spread offense. However, this might change because of a new coach.

i agree, if he could make quicker decisions he could be a big time player. he just needs reps
