THank you to Bill for bringing the plight of greyhound adoption to the forefront. It shouldn't matter whether he or his group or any of the rest of us are for or against racing - as long as the dogs are our focus, political agendas should not matter.

Awesome video!! Anyone who has been lucky enough to cross paths with Bill in the world of greyhound adoption knows how accurate the video is and how dedicated he and the rest of GFNJ is to finding homes for as many of these dogs as possible. He has donated countless hours (days!) to greyhound rescue as well as all the funds from this commercial - you are a super-cool dude :D Now get back to work!!

Rory Goree accepts money from NGA in exchange for his unwaivering support. Although GPA claims to be neutral, several chapter presidents are track employees and in Tuscon the General Manager of the track is the GPA chapter president, installed under Mr Goree's leadership. Ask Goree who pays his expenses to travel around the country to the various greyhound events he attends.

Thank you so much for your comments on NGA and GPA. I wonder what the real connection is between Guccione and Goree. I've met and spoken to Goree and he seems very limited in his ability to make any determinations, let alone any regarding the reality of greyhound racing. If GPA would come out against racing it would be a huge blow to the industry. Guccione/Goree prevent that from happening!

I agree AR groups still can get dogs since there are trainers/kennel owners willing to give ANY group dogs. The NGA and GPA statistics about how many dogs survive racing is a big fat lie. Gary Guccione and Rory Goree should be ashamed of themselves for the innaccuate portral of what really goes on once a dog has graded off the track.

I work with an Anti Racing group. We get dogs, other AR groups do too. And they do kill greyhounds. They overbreed looking for winners. Do you really believe they pet out all the ones that don't win? Go to Greyhound Network News and read the Greyhound Racing Factsheet. Over 8000 killed last year. See how GNN has used NGA's own numbers. They are accurate, except for the dogs bred that never get numbered, like mine.

If they did that many of the racing folks would simply kill the dogs rather than give them to him.
