seems that some people just don't know/ignoring their own history....

whatsoever happening in china... is just like any other countries... a process towards modernization...

for americans...europeans etc... you all had the same kind of problems... except food...

Well,this is a true report,Chinese farmers are much better than before. And Shanghaiese does protect the Shanghaiese and look down uopn on the outcoming people unless who are really rich,because now I live in here and suffer it sometimes.

@Viljarism well, before the mongol empire, the mongolian tribes don't have their own writing system, and used khitan's writing system. The Khitan spoke a proto mongolic language called khitan language and had developed two scripts for writing their language: a logographic script derived from chinese characters, and another derived from uighur.

after chinggis khan, when they defeated the uighurs, which they adopted their script. it slowly spread to europe which is known as the cyrillic script.

Really? You jump from Mongolians to Chinese characters? Mongolians have their own writing system that is phonetic, not based on Chinese characters.

@tabrizlioglan you need to watch less american propaganda bullshit, the chinese are very tolerant towards Uyghurs who perform kidnappings, murders and bombings, yet they are still allowed to practice their religion. unlike Americans who declare war on someone for any reason.

chinese in indonesia had endured far worse massacres(100,000 killed) than their uyghur counterparts, banned from speaking chinese and forced to adopt indonesian names and cease practicing their culture.

@tabrizlioglan uyghurs are muslim, i live in a muslim country, and i know islam behavior a lot.

not everyone may be terrorists, but certainly they can be symphatizers no matter you are muslim or not, the reason could be you're the same race or religion fighting for a certain cause that benefits you.

the uyghurs DID kill a lot of chinese there at start. thus sparked the racial riot.

before this fiasco, uyghurs were permitted to hold swords in public, not so sure now.
