  • Its a metaphor. The song is literally about sea weed but its really aboutthe daughter.

  • [English translation:]

Oh gentle daughter, here come the wooing men

Oh gentle mother, put the wheels in motion for me

    [Chorus:]

Seaweed from the yellow cliff, Irish seaweed

Seaweed from the ocean, the best in all of Ireland

There is a yellow gold head on the Gaelic seaweed

There are two blunt ears on the stately seaweed

The Irish seaweed has beautiful black shoes

The stately seaweed has a beret and trousers

  • I know that the song is about seaweed, but Dulaman doesn't mean seaweed does it? Becuz if you check out the celtic women singing dulaman, there song is about like a clean world with no cussing and gangs and global warming, and all that jazz.

  • OMG!! I had no clue you were that good!! WOW! GREAT JOB!!
