  • @chineseconservative Also, I forgot to add, during the apartheid system, the police force was more stricter, and people feared it more. Also unemployment was a hell of lot lower during apartheid believe it or not.

  • @chineseconservative no I never said crime wasn't a factor, of course it is. The number 1 priority is Poverty, in order for a real clamp down on crime, the government make measures into rapidly reduce poverty and unemployment else crime will never come down, it will just continue to be a cycle.

  • @a18nukem Many companies and skilled workers have fled South Africa due to crime. If poverty was the only factor in crime then how come there are more rapes and murders than under the apartheid regime.

  • @a18nukem no i agree with you actually. if i were in SA i would vote DA, they talk more sense, and also accept their mistakes, (toilet saga) unlike the ANC.

  • @benbezuidenhout oh....lol, what I mean is he needs to focus on the people living here, in order to win votes...not waste time on those who have left. Look at Zille, she is all over in the townships. And he said Crime is the priority...yet Poverty should be the #1 priority, because you can't reduce crime when poverty is high it's pretty much a losing battle...even Helen Zille said "The greatest obstacle was poverty and this was the party's number one priority" <--- yep thats what she said.

  • @a18nukem why are you calling this guy an idiot? He is very normal, and especially compared to the current dumbasses running the country, he can be portrayed as a saint. He isn't asking for much, he isn't damanding huge amounts of heavily rich in minerals land or rich farmland. He calls for a volkstaat in the desert Karro (the land strecthing from Orania to Port Nolloth. All far-right groups have demanded the former Boer states. he is in fact quite liberal

  • @benbezuidenhout what the heck are you on about?

  • This is a good guy, crime is the biggest problem in ZA at the moment (yes more than poverty), there have been 250,000 murders 1994-2005, and yet you claim that just because some zulus living off the land (who actually are happy with their lives), just because they earn less than 20% national average, they are "suffering in poverty"?? Before whites came there was nothing, just nomads, so why do these zulus/xhosas lay a "claim" to these farms/dams/airports/cities???

  • @a18nukem omg how stupid can you be!! Look at who else is in this country, Julius is calling for death, Zuma is president, yet ESCAPED TRIAL, and the former health minister tells the 5 million people with HIV, that using beatroots cures AIDS?? Thabo Mbeki claimed that Aids and HIV were separate things? This guy talks sense in a country run by nonsense idiots :/
