How did all of these holes get in my clothing? If you think that moths are to blame, there's a distinct possibility you could be confusing these culprits for carpet beetles. Carpet beetles are far more common than people realize, especially in urban area. Here entomologist Lou Sorkin pulls out the rug from under these pests.

  • @MMEnvironmental :D indeed. They know now I have none as well. I took all my wool scarfs and hats and put them in the freezer for 3 days.

  • @CoolGizmo335 I called exterminator, they srayed deltamethrin and some other shit that is supposed to keep them from reaching maturity, but I dont think its working, they can hide anywhere. Supposedly this shit has a residual effect, but I have seen the CB's walk right through it. These things are resilient.

I threw one in a container filled with 70% alcohol and he swam around for a good minute and a half before he croaked, shit I would have even died if it was me.

  • @agenthelios1 YEA MAN SAME HAPPENED TO ME! I CLEANED EVERYTHING REAL GOOD AND KILLED BUNCH OF THEM IN PROCESS. THEN A WEEK PASS, I WAS IN MY ROOM AND THEN I NOTICE, 2 MOTHERFUCKERS CROWLING AROUND THE CARPED! I RAGED LIKE FUCK, WAS UP TILL 5 TO GET RID OF THE PIECES OF SHIT AND EVEN NOW I STILL FIND THEM. IT MAKES ME GO CRAZY MAD AND IDK WTF TO DO

  • I've found 9 of the little black ones (shown at 7:42 and 7:48) in one day. It's really freaking me out. The little buggers can fly too. The only pictures I found on that flicker address are bed bugs

  • I have larder beetles. Get em every fall. I use home defense for these. Having four cats, two dogs and a bird don't help.
