- Here I talk about how and why people cause issues with horses, how what we do causes them to do what they do. I point out higher horses pushing lower horse, I show minor pushes and yielding of horse pressure and show aggressive strong pushing where a horse tried to aggressively bite another horse and that horse tries to kick back at the horse doing the pushing. All of this shows that horses are aware of all pressure around them, they react to that pressure by either yielding or pushing back or ignoring and standing their ground. The same thing people should do when working with horses. Yielding show submissiveness, pushing and holding ground shows strength and leadership. Knowing the difference enable you to talk and communicate with your horse more effectively.

  • VERY interesting to watch, you certainly know your herd!! is that gelding you chased away the overall leader?

  • @EddiesGun91 : it depends, some things yes others no, some time Mr. T will not let him take a mare and some time Mr. T just gives in and decides not to push it. He will the leader soon enough as Mr. T gets older and decides more and more that the fight is not worth it and accepts his time as leader as passed.
