I really hopes he gets his triple axel for the 2010 championships in Canada, he is able to perform them perfectly in practice and everything, but in competition they are particularly hard on him. :( Go Shawn!

Shawn reminds me so much of American figure skater Sasha Cohen. Not just because she has flexibility, but they both have such similar take off positions on their jumps. Such nice back posture coming in and out. It's also ironic how they have very similar mistakes, such as two footing, leg raised up higher than normal when landing in an attempt to hold on to it. Both skaters have inconsistency, but gorgeous spins, spirals, and footwork. Shawn just has so many things the other males don't.
