The alarmists aerosol theory to explain the 1940 to 1970 cooling is flawed because 3rd world high sulphate emissions have overtaken 1st world emissions. If this was significant, and if CO2 was the major cause, no warming would have occurred between 1970 and 1998.

Your comments are way off base and not consistent with more recent peer-reviewed science - particularly NASA studies that show the changes in solar output. 2008-2009 has been a time of deep solar minimum activity and we have seen a corresponding world-wide cooling. So, yes, go read the primary source data and find out what's really going on!
