"One last Image."

You can shoot someone with a camera
Like you can shoot them with a gun,
But could you pull the trigger
When all is said and done

If not only bullets let fly
But photons of light
To capture the image
Of the one whom you fight.

What say you now?
Would you be so brave to kill
If you knew that their last image
Belonged to you, forever frozen still.

Perhaps peace is then possible
If on every single gun
We placed a tiny camera
and destroyed your graceless fun.

im in the army and i beleve in peace, but if the time came to it i whould have there last image and i whould hide it away just for me to vue. but i whould not call killing fun but the frill of gettin shot at is. It is not brave to kill a man it is pitaful, is not hard its easy. And there always it a camera on the end of a gun ( is the eyes of the man who is doing the killing ) and i like the poem is hit home very hard. keep it up :) xxxx

Sadly I think that would have the opposite effect. It would be more like trophies and a way of keeping score.

I hadn't thought of that, but yes...in some cases I think it would become like that. But for those people perhaps they have reached a point where there is no deterrent for killing.
