  • @KingofComputing great to know thx very much

  • @yellowcow13 the regular explorer which i have driven extensively an 03 with a V6 have great ride, somewhat good pickup but their towing ability is unparalleled. 1st gear is tons of torque and low range will crawl up a hill without touching the gas. they're smooth, and after eight years mine still has NO slop in the steering and goes damn straight and wears the tires even with 105K miles on it. They're obviously reliable and get a five star frontal offset crash test rating. i'd get one again.

  • @KingofComputing Im also looking at these trucks. How do they ride and whats the power like??

  • @camarogod93 ya, they say the ones now, or until they get rid of them in favor of the new shitty explorer, will pull 7000 with the V8 just like the V8 explorer. all i know is that my dads V6 had plenty of balls and i was pulling about 1500 lbs in 4 Low (just because i wanted to, i already did it in regular rear wheel drive auto 4X4) and barely touching the accelerator it pulled itslef up about a 20 degree angle incline that's about 3 feet high with no problem. i'd love to see the V8 ones.

  • @KingofComputing They'll do what you need them too. But its not the most powerful truck out there. 210hp/240tq in a 2 ton truck. I've pulled 2000lbs and it was just fine. They say it'll pull 5000lbs, but I would recommend beefing up the trans cooling before hooking up to that much weight. And make sure the brakes are good lol.

  • i really want one of these for a first car. are the v6's good enough like do they have enough balls to do offroading and lots of towing.

  • it`s your dady car?

  • no beacause its says its a 03

  • hahahahahaha did that sound likea V8 to you??
