Playing Drums for a Country Band with improv at the end of the song

Here's a video from summer 2008 where I filled in on drums with a country band called Loose Ends. The location is Palmer Rapids country music festival, one of the biggest in Ontario. In this video, we covered God Bless Texas by the band Little Texas. There was an audience of somewhere between 3500 and 5000 people. We were opening for Michelle Wright on this night, and Aaron Pritchett the other night.

Also, keep in mind that I had two practices with the band prior to the gig, although this song came out really well. Also note that these drums aren't mine, but I wish I could afford a set of them... And there is a short 'solo' when the song finishes that I came up with off the top of my head with no prior thought, which I think turned out really well. enjoy!

It is very motivating, especially after playing a bunch of songs before this one that I barely knew. Fortunately I knew this one, and it was closer to rock than the others, so I was much more comfortable playing it.
