Shot ~3 miles south of the epicenter of a super cell thunderstorm passing over Lawrence, KS. (Shot SE of K10 & Harper Street) This storm produced a tornado 30 minutes later. Video @ 4x speed to emphasize rotation. There is no touch down in this video, only scud.

  • Whenever a tornado hits in Lawrence, it's a good bet it hit North Lawrence. I grew up here, seen it happen more than a few times. That is why North Lawrence is known as the tornado magnet.
