At Marquez Charter School in Los Angeles, California, 5th Grade students learn American history by producing a series of musicals. Share their excitement as they fuse performing arts and social studies into a joyous experience that underscores the fun of learning.

Music by Bill Augustine and Book and Lyrics by Marquez teacher Jeff Lantos.

This short documentary was produced for the Festival of New American Musicals as part of their 2nd season.
