NEVER use glue or wax. Just backcomb, use a crochet needle every day, wait a year and u have wonderful dreads. Good dreads take time. Wash them one time per weak with shower gel, no shampoo.

dont back comb you will side show bob for weeks!!! twist and rip is better.

This is the worst tut I've ever seen.
No need for comb, no need for glue - fingers and a crochet hook will do just fine.
Utterly baffling, please no-one follow this guide.
