@kjsharke if you want to ride a road with no trucks then get on the blue ridge parkway which is closed to trucks, this is a state road that is open to all traffic...
-
@tokenchoke311 if there were only trucks on that road I'd bet there wouldn't be as many fuck ups...riding bikes on this road is like surfing where jaws lives, it's gonna hurt sooner or later...

@1972njr @tjohn1986 In this thread: The South™.

@TixenDotNet Y UMAD THO?
-
@conkerred1 How does that in any way constitute special treatment? Do you consider "not being killed" special treatment for motorcyclists?
Take your hating to a video deserving of it.
-
@TixenDotNet i dont, but i also think its annoying that bikers think they are entitled to special treatment

Yeah, cause semi trucks occupying both lanes of traffic in a blind curve only pose a danger to motorbiking faggots....? Wow..... I tell you what, you try that argument in court, criminal and/or civil, one of these days when you run someone over in their own lane. Think about it, every thing on that 11 miles of highway is in danger with trucks using both lanes. Even other trucks!!!

Why do so many people think it's okay for Semi trucks to take up both lanes of a two way road in blind corners without any kind of lead to warn traffic ahead of them?
-
@mooosestang Heres a little something for you. If he would of took the corner in his lane, he would of damaged the trailer and load. the damn flatbed has to be at least a 48'. But basiclly what I see in this comment is that you can do it better. Also, why do you thing on the mudflaps of trailers and the trucks themselves say "This truck makes WIDE TURNS"
when will trucks be restricted from this road? it's a hazard to all vehicles shit I wouldn't even walk on this road not that you should but if you broke down or something...We all know how trucks like this have to drive taking corners and stuff but there is no space to avoid them in these turns.

The proponents of having trucks on this road seem not to be familiar with the road in question -- there is dubious reason for any truck company to be routing drivers this way in the first place, it is a scenic route, and trucks make it more unsafe than it already is (though the curves themselves are appealing). It has nothing to do with the lawfulness of crossing yellow lines.
