WHAT A LOOSER!! Emma was right, he was less than the dirt under her shoes, I liked that imagery. Someone actually did that to me 24 year ago; now my son is 23, he is a wonderful, extraordinary young man, but his real father never wanted to take responsibility or even acknowledge him. Nonetheless, I felt as proud and I had as much dignity as Emma had, enough to lift my chin up, leave everything behind me and go raise my baby on my own. I identify so much with Emma!!
