Feeding time at the Mason home is a bit unusual. That's because Susie Mason's cat, Tinkerbell, is nursing not only her three newborn kittens, but also three Chihuahua puppies whose own mother won't nurse them. Susie Mason's cat, Tinkerbell, took over feeding duties for her friend's Chihuahua puppies after their mother Harley, refused to do it, according to owner Connie Garman. The Murrieta feline who has three kittens to feed already, hasn't seemed to mind a bit that the three puppies have moved in. According to Mason, the puppies seem to like feeding from the bottom teats with the kittens using the top teats.

  • @Kirzan66 I had a little Shih Tzu that would make friends with any cat I brought home. And she and my cat Precious were best friends. When my little dog died, Precious grieved for her.

  • years ago my dad found a newborn kitten thrown in a dumpster, we could not get him to feed till our corgi pick up the baby and put her in with her pups, the kitten never did grow as big as a regular cat, but he always thought he was a dog, i swear he use to try and bark, , tabby grew up to be the best barn cat we ever had and live to be 13

  • @DebbsHereNow thats a rude thing to say, i mean i get it for those who cant afford to take care of them. but possibly these people wanted a litter of kittens and have homes for them already or wanted them for their selves. that was just rude of you, Debb...

  • well i am glad that your cat accepted them.

  • When a cat or dog adopts an anaconda or Burmese python, that will be news!

  • My chiihuahua also neglected her litter. So I had to bottle feed them. Luckily she only had 2

  • @MsBooda77 no, they were fed with llama milk >:o

  • Humans have a lot to learn from the so-called lower species.

  • Those puppies could have been saved, in any event. You can buy formula and bottles for kittens and puppies. A friend's cat abandoned her babies as soon as they were born. We bottle fed them, and they not only survived, they thrived. I just figured I'd mention this in case someone's faced with the same situation, and has no other options.

  • Wow, those puppies have a messed up future ahead of them! ( still, soo cute!)

  • i had two cats that had babies at the same time so their kittens would nurse off each other. u would see some of them nursing on another. it was so cute til one got really fat, fatter then the others. lol
