This video is simply here because there is a lack of videos concerning this bike and when I bought mine I was very concerned about how it ran and sounded. A video like this would've answered my questions so here is one to hopefully help anyone else out there looking in to the EX250.

The bike has recently had a valve clearance adjustment with 18k miles on it and it DID make a positive improvement in the sound and running of the bike. I just replaced the air filter, replaced coolant, replaced spark plugs, changed oil.

Manual recommends checking the valve clearance every 6000 miles. Took me about 2 hours to do the first time. No too difficult if you read up on it and plan out your steps.

  • I've got something like 8000 on mine (don't know off the top of my head, it lives at my grandma's house.)

I am the second owner, and as far as I know, the first owner never did a valve adjustment. I've had it for something like 1200 miles. When do I need to do my first valve adjustment?
