Describes the use of controlled vocabularies of subject headings used in a variety of library databases and catalogs. An example search in the Academic Search Elite database is performed to illustrate how to utilize subject headings in a search. Originally created by Kirsten Young-Abotsi (St. Louis Community College) on September 18, 2009 using Adobe Captivate 3. Approximately 5:11 minutes. The Adobe Captivate source file and .swf file for the tutorial are available from the ANTS repository at the University of Calgary DSpace. https://dspace.ucalgary.ca/handle/1880/47417
