I know I haven`t uploaded anything for a while so here`s something for you to peek at for now. I never intended to get so many people subscribing to this You-Tube account which is apparently called a "channel" but most are probably in it for the martial arts videos...although I shall cover a variety of different things over time...anyway...

This is a practice-sample of approximately 15% of the training material that exists in the 1st-Grade Gold-Mantis training levels for Eight-Step Preying Mantis Kung Fu. All Sifu-Trainees are required to memorise everything and show their abilities for testing before they are accepted as an official instructor with the Federation.

When practicing to improve fighting skills, actually strike at your target like you mean to hit it for real, and if your partner hasn`t developed the necessary reflex-actions to keep you from causing him a bleeding nose, then slow it down a bit (for learning speed) and keep rehearsing until you are actually able to fight with the material.

Keep in mind that sparring is NOT the same thing as training. I guarantee you that any person who keeps with up their physical-fitness requirements and perfects their execution of these training applications will become a far more capable fighter than the person who ONLY does sparring. I know this from personal-experience of once having been the former. Now I know better.

  • @cutevil I have been staying out of public-radar to focus more on intensive-research. The Kung Fu I have learned has been primarily from Kevin Loftus-Sifu of the American-Chinese Martial Arts Federation. I was fortunate to have access to a nearby buffet during the peak Olympic-levels of my training.

  • Why don't you make more videos?

I love your solid martial art moves - comparable to Jet Li on screen. Where did you learn kungfu?
