Forward Thinkers - California Everyday Leaders

California Forward is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization working to bring government closer to citizens and move the state in a forward direction. Luis Santana, Executive Director of Reading and Beyond, was featured as one of their "Forward Thinkers," someone who helps to improve our community, region, or state, and is inspiring others to do the same.

Reading And Beyond is dedicated to improving the academic success of children. 

From birth through high school, we work with children and their families, giving them the tools they need to achieve.

Our programs prepare children for kindergarten, tutor school-age students to grade-level reading, teach parents to support them in school, and help families overall by encouraging healthy lifestyle habits.
