ENJOY : Juha "Snake" Uronen

Aki is ex Nanaimo bars / Kotiteollisuus guitarist and also plays in Soul corner ( metal band)

Here something i copied from Aki´s page
I'm a Finnish self-taught guitar player currently residing in Istanbul, Turkey. I have played many types of music including rock, metal, indie and blues...but I have always loved playing acoustic guitars too. Indeed, flamenco music has always been among the most impressive music I have ever heard in my life. One of my early influences who actually had some effect even on my rock compositions and playing style was naturally Paco de Lucia. However, I have also listened the music by Andreas Segovia, as well as the Gypsy jazz musicians such as Django Reinhardt. While living in Turkey (since 2004) I have further experienced a bunch of new approaches to melodies, scales and music in general.

Flamenco music, the passion of acoustic guitar-playing deriving from the poor districts of Andalucian region, influenced originally from Indian and Middle-Eastern music, has always been close to my heart, even though I have never really studied how to play flamenco.

What I'm trying to do with this "Andalucian Dreams" project is to introduce a "world music" -approach into my playing and compositions. You'll find a mix of acoustic and electric instruments on these tracks, and perhaps the influences of Al Di Meola become evident while listening these tunes.

I'm not claiming to be more than an amateur when it comes to flamenco or jazz music, and these songs are more a mix of different types of guitar instrumental music...I'm humble in front of real talents such as Al Di Meola, Paco De Lucia, John McLaughlin, Django Reinhardt and many other...but I wish you enjoy these tunes anyway!
