Everybody is saying that Gorudo was such a weakling. I think that he must have been pretty strong to be the leader of the knights. Maybe he was made easy on purpose to kind of show the rage of Riou and Jowy that made them ridiculously overpowered. I mean even the song is called "Iron Fist of Anger". By the way is it even possible to lose this fight? Even if I only defended the whole battle our famous duo would propably finish the enemy off with bare counters...

@000Moli000 I'm replaying Suikoden 2 now and I just noticed something interesting: the first time we meet Gorudo in the game during Hilltop Conference, Nanami is standing in his way and he yells "Out of the way, girl!" Kinda foreshadowing event, since she gets "in his way" later in a different sense.
