Changing this value changes where the game goes to get this man's dialogue. All of the other values cause music and text glitches (except for 13, but that just says "You have too much stuff!"). The coolest part is the GlitchMart, where you can buy Masterballs, Itemfinders, Silph Scopes, other key items, and various glitch items.

  • The new Virtual NPC.

He'll cough up Waters and Soda Pops like a vending machine.

He'll store items and Pokémon like a Pokémon Center PC.

He'll sell you glitchy items that can accomplish cool tasks like invisibility or turning yourself into numbers/letters.

Find him today, in your local patch of grass.

  • haha

  • Is it possible to glitch 9999999money and buy a bike?

  • Possibly. I'd have to test it.

  • I doubt it. The game's hexadecimals can only go so far. For example, you cannot have a pokemon at level 256, because the game's hex codes were not programed to go that far. Heck, not even glitchy items are as much as the Bicycle costs.

  • You are right in that most of the values in the game are stored in hexadecimal, but money is stored in decimal form. If you have 87651 pokedollars, it is stored in the memory as 08 76 51. The max the game lets you have is 99 99 99. Changing this to FF FF FF might break the money limit. However, I do doubt that there is a scripted event to allow you to buy the bike without a voucher.
