It is Rollin' stone, which was the inspiration for The Rolling Stones name, and Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone". When The Jimi Hendrix Experience covered it in 1967 it was more commonly reffered to as "Catfish Blues"

i believe willie dixon wrote it for/with muddy.
Hendrix too did a version and called it catfish blues

Yes, Youtube Robert Petway Catfish Blues and you get closer to the roots. I'm not sure he wrote it.
Jimi made it even more famous before he left us, way to early, way to early. RIP you all great blues men of GOD.
