i've caught the cold (like everyone else around me), and was thinking of my childhood and how my mom would cook me jeonbokjuk on sick days. porridge is best for times when your body's aching and every muscle and joint movement hurts -- you can just slurp it down!

i made it just now, but instead of abalone i used minced pork which also mix with shrimp and fish
but still nice and delicious !!!! thx maangchi =D

im 14 and i made this porridge but with clams. it came out AMAZING and so did everyone in the family. my mom told everyone she made it and they all believed her and they were like "hmm? this is sooo good i want you to make this for me everyday!!". if a 14 year old can make it, you can definitely make it. SO good and SO easy! thank you maangchi ahjumma <3
