1)The framers' view of the right to own and carry arms is restored.
2)The decision is an example of judicial restraint.
3)The District of Columbia's complete ban on handguns was ruled unconstitutional.

Sounds like a good ruling. The scary thing is that there still were four judges on the court who didn't support our 2nd Amendment liberties. One judicial appointment could have meant the difference between having a 2nd amendment and not by the looks of it. This decision, while it seems good, was way too close for comfort. We need more pro-liberty, pro-bill of rights judges.
