The extremely well oiled and well cared for inversion board used for this scene in Lis Anna's "Prometheus" did not make nearly enough noise to be interesting in this context. To created the creaking sound used here, a 1950's metal sewing chair was found, recorded a few times, then edited to the picture. The results are very convincing.
Dialog, music, and ambient noise were also recorded and edited by Jay Martin.
