Creating a body for the mouse cursor and connecting it to other objects when I click the mouse, makes for a pretty entertaining little playground.

Just do what he says in the info:
Create a body and link it to the mouse, then attach that body to the body that has been clicked on. Check out the Chipmunk forum - there's plenty of discussion there.

I would be interested as well in the source code. Do you consider publishing it?

Cool. How did you make it? If that's C can I see the source code? I'm trying to learn using chipmunk but due to lack of tutorials/examples it's hard.
