That's because you are a real traditional conservative. This guy is a Neoconservative. Neocons are not really conservative. They believe in big spending, big entitlements, starting pre-emptive wars without declaring them, nation building, all things that would make the traditional "Old Right" like Taft and Goldwater roll in their graves if they saw what the Republican party has become.

Speaking of Utopias our has descended to near the bottom of the barrel. The US is ranked 9th for per capita income and anywhere from 12th to 15th for quality of life.
