*NOTE*TO FLASH FREEZE MAKE SURE ALL INGREDIENTS ARE FROZEN (ESPECIALLY THE SAUCE) WHEN YOU TRANSFER IT TO YOUR FREEZER BAGS OR FREEZER TUPPERWARE. IF NOT , WHEN IT FREEZES IT WILL BE A BIG CLUMP INSTEAD OF INDIVUALLY FROZEN PIECES AND TOTALLY DEFEAT THE PURPOSE OF FLASH FREEZING. BE SURE TO LABEL YOUR BAGS WITH THE DATE AND CONTENTS!

This video will show you the technique I use to stock my freezer up with homemade frozen skillet meals. Save money by making your own that is catered to your diet. They really come in handy when you don't feel like cooking and want something fast!

Flash freezing is simply taking food and placing it in a single layer on a baking sheet and freezing it. Once frozen you transfer it to freezer-friendly containers or bags,. Flash freezing makes reheating a BREEZE since everything is individually frozen. No more huge globs of food to unthaw.
You can also flash freeze cookie dough, waffles, pancakes..etc.

  • is two jars of sauce gonna be healthy tho? other than that it looks really good.

  • you can actually leave off the sauce and just season it with salt and pepper and throw some olive oil on it when it's reheated. I've done that before with good results....but man I sure did miss the sauce lol

  • thank you, you can cook. I am a new subby.

  • thanks!!! And thanks so much for subbing!!!

  • What is with this freezer bag stuff? Make the meal....cool completely and than cover with heavy duty foil and freeze. When you are ready to use just slip into oven.
