thats usually what happens b4 birth. the mare starts to "fall apart" and bones start sticking out and her hips literally turn to jello. its supposed to happen.

i suggest u dont. u can go to kill pens and slaughter houses and auction houses to buy a foal, or rescue a pregnant mare.

I've gotta say, I'm a litte bit concerned at how ribby Sccooter looks in the last few photos. It;s really important that your mare has "extra" weight on her for when the baby is born, because trust me, the foal will drain a lot out of her. I'd recommend talking to a vet and seeing if you should be adjustin her feed a bit to prevent and future problems. Remember, if Scooter doesn't have enough meat on her bones, her AND the baby will both suffer!
