Defying Gravity - Wicked

This is me singing "Defying Gravity" from the musical "Wicked" at my Uncle's wedding on the 20th February, 2010.

It is my favourite inspirational song, one that has got me through many times when I have felt like giving up and continues to give me strength every time I listen to it or perform it. I sang it especially at their wedding because they have striven through all the adversity that has been thrown in their way, coming out stronger and more loving than any couple I have ever seen. This song is for you, Paul and Paula.

This backing is taken from the version of the song that Brian May, the lead guitarist of Queen, put together for Kerry Ellis on her "Wicked in Rock" album.

The camera had a hard time focusing because of the lighting, but the sound seems pretty good overall.
