Was this a competition to see which band member would pass out fastest?
As for punking this song up, i think really striking the downbeat at a measured, but lively, tempo would work to drive the point home. The lyrics already say it all. "BEAUing BELLing DANcing DRINKing BREAKing WINdows SWEARing SINKing EVer RAKing NEVer THINKing LIVE the rakes of MALLow!"
