@jroc0123 I bet what he's talking about is that it's not the water that washes you but it's the blood of Jesus that the water is representing that cleanses and washes a person. The water by itself does nothing.

@wordprophet lol this is the new christianity nowadays. It is very entertaining tho.
-
@wordprophet....what did he say that was wrong?....maybe I missed it or you missing something

How could ANYONE who has read the scripture sit in front of this nonsense? Does anyone REALLY think that men of God preach like this? That the apostles preached like this ridiculous entertainer?
I can't even stand to listen to his rantings for more than a few seconds! This is not the Spirit of God...it is the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes.
Look at these pharisees in their costumes in their plush special purple seats!
Look at the deceived being entertained by a motivational speaker!
WAKE UP!

@Duchezz1 Yes I agree, people were baptised before Jesus was crucified but they were being baptised into Johns baptism. But after the Lord had risen he commanded the disciples to baptise in IN THE NAME of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. In Acts 2:38 after the Holy Ghost had been given,Peter told them to repent and be baptised In that name of the Lord Jesus Christ. There is only 1 baptism not 2 the bible says it in Eph 4:5.In acts 19:2 Paul re-baptised the disciples of john.

@xray219 They called it the Holy Ghost because that's what the Bible uses, Spirit of God or the Holy Ghost. Be blessed

@zackeryhenderson My Brutha now we getting somewhere. Baptism is Necessary but we you dont REPENT 1st it is useless I AGREE. & Thats why Apostle Peter stood up on the Day of Pentecost & said "REPENT & be Baptized every1of you in the Name of Jesus Christ." Acts 2:38a But what was mention at 7:17 was FALSE. John was the 1 who Baptized JESUS IN WATER I Peter 3:21 says something different from what This Man has said. Thats my Argument. We cant discredit Scripture, But thats thats what he did.

The Apostle Peter says "....baptism doth also saves us"(I Peter 3:21) this is an outward sign of confession , water is essential to salvation. If hippocrites get baptized, it doesn't negate the truth of Water baptism in Jesus .. dont die without being baptized in Water in Jesus Name and being filling with The Holy Ghost..evidence of speaking in "other tongues" as the spirit of God give the utterance(supernatural)

@moneygreen3 I'm not arguing the fact the baptism is necessary, but baptism without repentance is useless. It doesn't matter how many times you get dipped in the water, if you're not saved and filled with the Holy Ghost baptism is useless. In my own view, if you say you're saved and refuse to get baptized, then your testimony is false. You can't discredit scripture to add credibility to others. All scripture is relative and equally credible, given by inspiration of GOD
One of my favorite preacher, but I have to beg to differ with one of those statements, " water doesn't shake of sins" When the bible clearly says, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.(John 3:5) Also, Then Peter said unto them , Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost,(ACTS 2:38) shout Yeah! All Bible baby!

@jroc0123 Yes. However, people were being baptised b4 Jesus gave up the Ghost (Mark 1:4). So, the rite of baptism was a practice even b4 the Holy Ghost. Yes, they were under the Law, but were still expected to live Holy b4 God. I was saved at 12 & have been baptized under both formulas, so I don't make a big issue over it. What I have an issue with is people who get baptized and then live like the devil. Holiness is still right, but they think as long as they're baptised that's all they need.
