Summer said to put the pepper into the blender first, so that probably helps with the moisture level. But if the pepper is a bit dry, you might still need to add water.

Great! How long do you dehydrate it for, please?

Dehydrate 4 hours on the teflex sheet and then flip it on to the mesh screen only and four more hours dehydrating time.
Look at it and feel it's consistency and taste it too, to make sure it's texture you like it to be.
