  • @southernrailfan1 There are a fair amount of trains that go on both the St. Joe & Hastings Subs, but the Creston has the majority of the traffic, and the ,most "railfan friendly" locations to shoot at. I have mixed feelings about the new station being built. The current station has been around since the CB&Q days, so it's kind of a part of Lincolns history, but that's Lincoln for ya. The city motto is becoming "if something is old, tear it down and build a parking garage!"

  • Awesome spot and cool catches! Can't wait for the new Lincoln Amtrak station to be built, will make it even better! Also, do more trains enter Lincoln through the St Joe Sub?

  • @CSXRP Something around 85-90 trains per day hit Lincoln, roughly 65-70 are coal loads/empties going to & from Wyoming. I call this "coal country".

  • Great catches, must get a lot of coal traffic through there.
