Perhaps I can explain. Taco Time is legendary here in the Seattle area. Oregon and Idaho too. It is excellent, for fast food, that is. examples: Clean restaurants, helpful staff; no lard nor even any oil in beans, yet they are very good; the choice of having whole wheat tortillas; they bring the food to your table (no tip expected) and maintain current standards of health food. It is the best, and we here could never compare it to Taco Bell. It was based , in Maple Valley, WA, but now in AZ.

@Editor5899 Yes that is true. A few items are way overpriced, but I can always eat a meal there for under $4.

I work at a Taco Time in Washington state. They don't mention the stores in Australia on the wiki page.

There's like 5 Taco Times here in Vancouver.

Oh, and the slogan I remember so well, "Any time is Taco Time."

I'm in the US and I've never seen a Taco Time, but we have Taco Bell everywhere.

I never saw a Taco Time either, so they obviously didn't stay here long.

Deleted from Kuttyswood:
What you just said, proved the theory right, that tacos don't work as mainstream fast food in Australia, as the homemade versions (i.e Old el Paso) sell like hotcakes. Just ask Taco Bell... (I wonder if they still have Taco Bells in Sydney)

Yes I remember that one and went there a few times. There was also one near where I live, which was a KFC/Taco Bell (both shops under 1 roof).
