Those bats are for show. Thats why he has 8 sitting right there. They are shave or rolled so much they dont last that long. I know he is a very big strong guy but they dont break that easily.

I am good friends with Brandon Murray, who hit with Rusty on the Long Haul Tour. I can tell you, even though Brandon and Rusty flat out murder the ball when they hit it, I'm pretty sure in this video, Rusty is using a bat that is not stock. The sound gives it away! Plus, it's entertainment. thats why it's on YouTube.

boy i tell you, you guys are all kinda right. not totally 100% in any of your cases. Rusty is a mound of muscle and yes the bats he are doin a demonstration with are factory stock but they come from the factory made with thinned walls. NOT SHAVED. they are called elite player models. thats why only the rep ie... Rusty can swing them fresh out the wrapper and hit 400+ bombs off the rip. and yes i do know wat im talkin bout because everyone in my family that plays softball is on a competitive team
