He is mistaken, this is no blues, it is pure jazz. The blues don't need so much scale!

i dont understand why people feel depressed about their own guitar skills, and cry out loud cus they cant play like tommy.

It's also partially because this type of music is not to appreciated in masses,as beautiful as it is,the truth is that only a very specific groups of people would listen to it,it's not as flexible as most of these days music,it cannot be and never will be due to it's uniqueness.
