The "chosen" colt Kelley Boy, who we planned, delivered, loved and doted upon since before Day 1, was seriously injured July 13, 2009. He was just 26 months old when he sustained a life-threatening fracture of the proximal humerus (shoulder). He had major surgery on August 13, and three large bone screws were placed across the humeral head - with no guarantees. We think - so far - he has beat the odds! Please share your thoughts...
