James Bond: Casino Royale trailer with Timothy Dalton

This is the teaser trailer for Casino Royale, but featuring my favourite Bond actor (and the best likeness to Fleming's creation), the great Timothy Dalton.
I am aware that not all of the clips fit or totally work, but naturally it is impossible to find perfect matching locations and costumes from two completely different movies made almost a decade apart. Where I could not find suitable shots or sound clips to match or substitute with the original, I have made some strategic edits whilst attempting to keep the pace and narrative of the trailer flowing smoothly.

Why do this? Because Dalton was the one who started the whole "gritty Bond" thing that Daniel Craig is getting all the kudos for. Dalton was the originator and is still the standard by which all future "gritty Bonds" will be measured. Shaken? No. But definitely stirred. Enjoy and thanks to all the Dalton fans everywhere!

Yeah, what is with the British censors and cutting out headbutts on TV and/or movies? Using one's forehead to knock someone else out isn't always that graphically violent, haha

@CesMan83 The British censors dont cut TV, just DVDs and BDs. They no longer have their outdated stance on headbutts anymore - thankfully!

This video is absolutely great. Thank you. Timothy Dalton should have done more Bonds. He is absolutely the best actor to play Bond. The people that underrate his Bonds have never read the books nor know anything about great acting. Bond was a psychopath and Dalton plays him to the hilt with flair and authenticity.

Timothy Dalton was the best Bond. He made Bond real unfortunately there are too many people who do not appreciate genius and great acting.

@GavSalkeld dalton should have done more he was a brilliant bond this and the other fan made timothy dalton trailer property of a lady a really good, timothy was brilliant in chuck to he shows he can do comedy to, i think he would be great if they ever remade the equalizer

great job GavSalkeld any time i watch this always makes me wonder what his other bond films coulda been like, dalton was the best imagine if roger moore had have kept going we would have adam sandler as bond now, dalton brought the ian flemings bond back to life any empty head who cant see that should go and watch naked gun.daltons portrayal is excellent it would be great to see him come as a villain in a bond film with craig 1-dalton 2-craig i like the others but they re my fave

I totally agree with Margosacco as well. Dalton is my personal favorite Bond, followed by Craig and Connery. Dalton did indeed pave the way for the more stone-cold portrayals of 007, in which Craig and even Brosnan followed up on
