well my opinion on this matter is that what happend to the first nations community was wrong and cannot be forgiven nor forgotton but how is all this support from the government gonna help them i think its time they learn the value of indepedance it helped me alot and it would definitely help them more so. this land was bound too be taken over anyways its just that the europeans did it first thats all whos too say that China,Japan or Middle east etc wouldnt have done the same thing or worse.
